More beautiful than ever, Géraldine Olivier is back agian. She started her comeback in 2006 with man Radio and TV performances. Her current album "Liebe erleben" was enthusiastically received by her fans in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The change from pure Folk Music to Pop Folk Music allows you to see her musical maturity and musical development. With the lyrics from songs like "Die starken Frau’n" or "Große Gefühle" Géraldine speaks directly to the heart of the modern woman. They are strong, but still allow themselves to be spoiled and search for such a foothold with their partner. With "Du hast mein Leben nicht verändert" she fortifies her relationship thesis, which she believes is required for a happy and fulfilling relationship: look inside each other, find out who your partner really is and leave him that way.

The International singing carrier of the beautiful and sympathetic singer began when she was 19 as a soloist for the choir "La Chanson des 4 Saisons", where she appeared for Switzerland in 1986 at the World's Fair in Vancouver, Canada. At the time Géraldine Olivier was working as a secretary in the Bern Federal House, the seat of the Swiss Government. She was one day sent to Tokyo Japan as an Embassadorial secretary, thousands of miles from her home. There at a diplomatic reception of fellow Countrymen she received her first contact with the professional Swiss music scene. In memory of the "Land of the Rising Sun" the song "Soleil, Soleil" arose with which she later won the 1992 Swiss qualification for the "Grand Prix Eurovision". Suddenly, three years later, came her greatest breakthrough with the sentimental song "Nimm dir wieder einmal Zeit". This landed Géraldine her splendid win at the 1995 "Grand Prix der Volksmusik" in Vienna and set her up to against the current elite Folk Music artists.

Her success didn't stop her from seeing the real world. Especially through the wonder of having her own child. This kept her socially active and known to helping the well-being of those less well off. "I want to be able to give other people a little bit of my happiness and luck," says Géraldine Olivier. Her social engagements reach from a Godchild at Plan Internation, to promotion of "Menschen für Kinder (People for Children)" and the "Rad-Tour der Hoffnung (Bike Tour of Hope)" as fundraiser for children with cancer.

Privately Géraldines life also switched it's course. "Und die Welt wird sich drehen (And the World Will Spin)" was her album a few years ago. Then there was "Gefühle (Emtions)" and thereafter followed "Liebe erleben (Experience Love)". If you are looking to put the real life of Géraldine together, you can use the musical stations of the previous years to create the sentence: "Ich will die Liebe erleben, mit viel Gefühl, sodas die Welt sich dreht. (I want to experience love, with emotion, so that the world spins.)" This way seems to have come to an end for Géraldine. She has taken her time with open eyes, without having to change herself, and finally found the family that she has been searching and hoped for. The Fates didn't always make everything good for her, however, this time they brought her together with a person who gives Géraldine the feeling she has always looked for. A man, who accepts her for who she is. The rollercoaster of feelings is now ended and the smooth ride has now begun. This new period in her life also begins with a new place of residence: Northern Germany. There she lives with her new family, a man and two children, in a wonderful reed roofed house in the marshes of the Elbe near Hamburg.

Géraldine is still looking forward with her musical career. She is currently working hard on a new musical concept for her career, with which she plans to surprise her fans in 2007. Let's just say it has something to do with her new home. We're waiting to see what Géraldine brings about.
