Kann man sich in ein Album verlieben? - Man kann!

smago! hat sich - bereits vor einigen Wochen - unsterblich in die neue CD von GERALDINE OLIVIER verliebt. Seit 21. Mai 2010 ist "Ein Schiff wird kommen - Die großen maritimen Welterfolge mit Géraldine Oliver (Folge 2)" im Handel erhältlich. Aufgrund des überwältigenden Erfolges von "Seemann, lass' das Träumen - Die großen maritimen Welterfolge mit Géraldine Olivier" hat die Plattenfirma VM Records / MCP bereits vor der Veröffentlichung der zweiten Erfolge bereits Teil 3 bestellt. Auch eine DVD ist bereits konkret in der Entstehung.

Somit ist der im österreichischen Ötztal beheimateten Plattenfirma bereits der zweite Überraschungscoup innerhalb kurzer Zeit gelungen. So ist bereits das Album "Heimatgefühle" von Sigrid & Marina in Verkaufssphären vorgedrungen, die einem ohnehin kein mehr Mensch glaubt. Ähnlich verhält es sich mit der "Exil-Schweizerin" Géraldine Olivier, die der Liebe wegen vor einigen Jahren an die Ostsee gezogen ist. Ihr erstes Album mit maritimen Welterfolgen hat sich binnen eines Jahres vom absoluten Geheimtipp zu einem heimlichen Bestseller gemausert.

Mit "Folge 2" setzt sie - in jeder Beziehung - noch einen drauf. Die Repertoireauswahl ist noch gelungener als auf der ersten 'maritimen CD'. Es scheint schier so, als hätte sich Géraldine die eigentlichen Kracher bewusst für "Folge 2" aufgespart (, wobei sie auch für "Folge 3" noch einige Asse im Ärmel hat). Stimmlich präsentiert sich Géraldine in absoluter Bestform. Und die Produktion als solche haut einen buchstäblich vom Hocker: Hier wurde - und das mit voller Absicht - das "Weniger-ist-mehr" Prinzip vollends perfektioniert, die fast schon puristischen Arrangements machen den Glanz und den Charme dieses traumhaft schönen Albums aus, das wirklich dermaßen rundum gelungen ist, dass es einen regelrecht "wegflasht".

Wem Géraldine auf ihren Schlagerpop-Titeln (aktuell schickt sich der brandneue Song "Was wär' der Sommer ohne dich" an, ein respekatbler Radio-Hit zu werden...) vielleicht bisweilen ein bisschen zu sehr "gackert", der höre sich bitte einmal vorbehaltlos "Ein Schiff wird kommen - Die großen maritimen Welterfolge (Folge 2)" von Anfang bis Ende an.

Absolut herausragend ist Géraldines deutsche Version des Charles-Trenet-Evergreens "La Mer" - "Das Meer". (Hören Sie sich ruhig zum Vergleich einmal HIER die Version von Liselotte Malkowsky an...!) Ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert ist das Duett mit "MusikantenDampfer"-Kapitän Maxi Arland, mit dem sie eine der ultimativen 'Melodien des Herzens', nämlich: "Steig in das Traumboot der Liebe", aufgenommen hat. Das ganze Album verdient das Prädikat "absolut empfehlenswert". Géraldine versetzt einen mit ihren Interpretation großer maritimer Hits in eine geradezu meditative Stimmung.

Im Lale-Andersen-Jahr (- sie hätte in diesem Jahr ihren 105. Geburstag gefeiert -) war es für Géraline natürlich Ehrensache, (wieder) einige Titel von ihr aufzunehmen, darunter auch "Lili Marleen". Aber auch mit "Im roten Licht der Hafenbar" und "Südseenacht (Aloahe)" erweist Géraldine Olivier Lale Andersen ihre Referenz.

Und damit die "Gleichberechtigung" wieder hergestellt ist, hat sie auch drei (eigentlich sogar vier!) Titel von Freddy (Quinn) aufgenommen.

noch vor zwei Jahren war es ein Traum, einmal die schönen maritimen Melodien der 50er- und 60er- Jahre wieder aufleben zu lassen. In diesem Jahr halte ich schon das zweite Album in den Händen und freue mich, dass ich diesen Schritt gemacht habe. Soviel Freude hatte ich auf vielen Veranstaltungen, mit Euch diese Titel gemeinsam zu singen. Auf diesem neuen Album "Ein Schiff wird kommen" habe ich einen Schwerpunkt gesetzt. Lale Andersen hätte dieses Jahr ihren 105. Geburtstag gefeiert und so habe ich ihr mehrere Titel gewidmet. Ganz besonders freue ich mich natürlich, ihren berühmtesten Titel "Lili Marleen" als Bonustrack zu interpretieren. Ein weiteres Highlight für mich ist das Duett mit Maxi Arland "Steig in das Traumboot der Liebe". (...) Ich freue mich schon jetzt auf die Veranstaltungen, wo wir zusammen diese Lieder wieder singen.

Endlich ist es soweit. Folge 2 der maritimen Welterfolge - "Ein Schiff wird kommen" - mit Géraldine Olivier ist fertig und ab sofort erhältlich. Diesmal hat sich Géraldine Olivier weiteren grossen Klassikern gewidmet wie "Die Gitarre und das Meer", "La Mer", "Capri-Fischer" und natürlich eine weitere Verneigung vor Lale Anderseen, die in diesem Jahr ihren 105. Geburtstag gefeiert hätte. Als Schwerpunkt wurden somit auch vier Lale Andersen Titel neu aufgenommen. Auch ihr grösster Erfolg "Lili Marleen" durfte - als Bonustrack - nicht fehlen. Ganz besonders freut sich Géraldine über ihr erstes Duett ihrer Karriere. Mit Maxi Arland hat sie den Klassiker "Steig in das Traumboot der Liebe" aufgenommen. Ein Wunsch vieler Fans, den beide gerne erfüllt haben.

Liebe Freunde & Fans,

viel ist in den letzten Tagen geschrieben worden über den Vorgang bei der Schlagernacht in Luzern. Wir bedanken uns insbesondere bei der "Luzerner Zeitung" für die unreflektierte Berichterstattung. Da hat Herr Häfliger wohl jemand anderes gesehen und vor allen Dingen gesprochen. Es reihen sich die Falschbehauptungen nur so aneinander. Aber das liegt wohl mehr daran, dass Herr Häfliger als sorgfältiger Journalist nur mit der einen Seite gesprochen hat. Der Blick ist da schon etwas höflicher und hat uns zumindest auch mit einem Foto bedacht. Dafür danken wir an dieser Stelle. Lediglich ist beiden Artikeln gemein, dass behauptet wird Géraldine wolle unbedingt an anderer Stelle platziert werden und beruft sich auf Künstlerkollegen, vor denen sie nicht auftreten möchte. Dazu ist nur soviel zu sagen, dass Géraldine dem künstlerischen Leiter der Veranstaltung angeboten hat, als Erste die Veranstaltung zu eröffnen. Dies ist durch mehrere Zeugen belegt. Alles weitere ist interne Vertragsgangelegenheit und der Veranstalter weiß wohl, warum er auf eine Rückführung der Gage verzichtet. Er hat nämlich den Vertrag nicht eingehalten. Selbstverständlich tut es uns für viele Fans Leid, dass Géraldine an dem Tag nicht auftreten konnte. Insbesondere, da sie in der Schweiz nicht so häufig zugegen ist. Aber solche Behandlungen durch die Veranstalter lassen auch nicht für die Zukunft hoffen.

bedauerlicherweise konnte Géraldine an der "Schlagernacht Luzern" heute nicht teilnehmen. Allen Fans, die extra für Géraldine angereist sind - und wir wissen, es waren nicht wenige - sprechen wir unsere Entschuldigung aus. Wir waren zwar vor Ort, aber der Veranstalter hat sich leider nicht an die vertraglichen Vereinbarungen gehalten und uns somit gewzungen, die Veranstaltung kurzzeitig abzusagen. Wir hoffen, Ihr hattet dennoch einen schönen Abend mit den Kollegen, die sicher für eine tolle und abwechslungsreiche Unterhaltung gesorgt haben.

Liebe Fans und Freunde,

ein ganz besonderer Anlass erwartet uns am kommenden Wochenende. Günter Wewel wird am 29.11. 75 Jahre jung und und aus diesem Grunde hat die ARD ihm eine Geburtstagssendung geschenkt. Ein toller Streifzug durch sein Leben mit vielen schönen Erinnerungen. Und dazu hat Günter Wewel unsere Geraldine zu sich nach Hause eingeladen, um diesen Streifzug gemeinsam zu begehen. Eine große Ehre, die Géraldine mit Freude angenommen hat. Was die Beiden gemeinsam entdeckten und welche schönen Erinnerungen dabei aufkamen, könnt Ihr am kommenden Sonntag den 22.11.2009 um 15:30 Uhr in der ARD sehen.

Da das Leben und die Erinnerungen von Günter Wewel so interessant und abwechslungsreich sind, konnte man in 60 Minuten gar nicht alles zeigen. Aus diesem Grunde wurde zugleich eine 90 Minuten Fassung gedreht, die am 29.11.2009, um 14:00 Uhr im SWR Fernsehen auch noch zu sehen ist.

Liebe Freunde und Fans
Die Tour der Hoffnung rollte dieses Jahr wieder für den guten Zweck durch Deutschland. Dieses Mal von Gießen nach Bochum. Die Tour hat ein neues Rekordergebnis erradelt!
1.255.000,00 Euro
wurden in diesem Jahr für krebskranke Kinder gespendet. Auch die „(Vor-) Tour der Hoffnung“ hat in diesem Jahr mit
141.550,00 Euro
ein tolles Ergebnis für unsere Kleinen eingefahren.
Der Fanclub Géraldine Olivier hat in diesem Jahr ebenfalls für krebskranke Kinder gespendet. Die Spende beläuft sich auf
2.000,00 Euro
Ich möchte mich bei allen die gespendet haben von Herzen bedanken. Meine Fans haben im Laufe des Jahres auf das Spendenkonto des Fanclubs Géraldine Olivier gespendet. Der Auszug des Bankkontos wird in diesen Tagen unter der Rubrik „Tour der Hoffnung“, Button „Spenden 2009“ erscheinen. Spendenquittungen wurden bereits angefordert.
Da wir Kosten für die Tour der Hoffnung sparen wollen, werden wir Spendenquittungen nur für Unternehmer, die eine Spendenquittung geltend machen können, ausstellen. Wir bitten um Verständnis. Die Namen der Spendengeber sind auf dem Bankauszug - natürlich ohne Angabe von Wohnort – erwähnt. An alle einen herzlichen Dank. Die Einzahlungen ohne Namen stammen aus Einnahmen bei Veranstaltungen. Fanclub Treffen 2009 in LuzernMonday, the 28th of September, 2009 at 10:05 AM

Liebe Freunde und Fans

Nun sind die Sommerferien bereits hinter uns und schon stehen die Herbstferien vor uns.

Dieses Jahr war ein sehr bereicherndes Jahr für mich, voller Überraschungen und tollen Momenten. Einer dieser Momente war unser Fanclubtreffen in Luzern.

Hier möchte ich mich nun ganz herzlich bei unserer Schweizer Fanclubleiterin Ruth Huwiler für ihre tolle Arbeit bedanken. Es waren gelungene Stunden und das Wetter hat am 1. August 2009 genauso mitgespielt.

Die Rundfahrt durch Luzern mit der Minibahn und der anschließende musikalische Begrüßungsapéritif an Bord des Restaurantschiffes auf dem Luzerner See haben für eine tolle Atmosphäre gesorgt.

Mein Dank geht natürlich ebenfalls an Ruth Huwilers Ehemann Sepp. Danke für deine Mitarbeit und die tollen Überraschungen. Der Abend auf dem hohen Berg, am Fuße des Vierwaldstädter Sees und Luzern, hat uns den Atem geraubt. Und um 24 Uhr der schönste Augenblick des Tages: der 1. August und die Gründung der Schweiz im Jahre 1291 wurden für uns durch knallendes Feuerwerk über dem See zu einem unvergessenen Fanclubtreffen.

Einige Bilder des Fanclubtreffens werden noch in diesen Tagen auf meiner Homepage erscheinen. Meine Provider sind dabei den Button „Fotoalbum“ zu verändern und spätestens danach werden alle Bilder auf der neuen Seite zu sehen sein.

Ich bin sehr stolz der TOUR DER HOFFNUNG Familie anzugehören.

Im Jahr 2008 ist die TOUR DER HOFFNUNG bereits 25 Jahre durch Deutschland geradelt und hat Millionen Euros Spenden für krebskranke Kinder eingesammelt.

Seit 2008 habe ich die große Ehre, die musikalische Botschafterin zu sein. Mit meinen Produzenten Thorsten Brötzmann und Ivo Moring ist uns ein wunderschönes Lied für die TOUR DER HOFFNUNG gelungen. „Licht am Horizont“ wird nun an jeder Etappe der Tour mit hunderten von Kindern gesungen. Einfach wunderschön!

Ich möchte nun meine FANGEMEINDE dazu animieren mit mir mitzumachen. Wie? Ganz einfach. Ich erhalte von meinen Fans jedes Jahr Geschenke anlässlich meines Geburtstages, Weihnachten oder sogar anlässlich der Geburtstage meiner Söhne Jonas-Alexander und Gregory.

Liebe Freunde und Fans

Auf den Spuren der Vergangenheit radelten Géraldine Olivier und 170 Teilnehmer der "Tour der Hoffnung" vergangene Woche von Gießen nach Hamburg. Auf ihrer 4-tägigen Benefiz-Radtour legten sie 380km zurück.

Überall wurden die Hoffnungsradler in ihren grünen Trikots begeistert empfangen. Namhafte Persönlichkeiten aus Politik, Wirtschaft und Sport konnten im Fahrerfeld ausgemacht werden: Schirmherrin Petra Behle, der Kapitän der Fahrerfeldes, Klaus Peter Thaler, der Biathlet Sven Fischer, "DDR-Radsportlegende Täve Schur", Hessen´s Innenminister Volker Bouffier, Niedersachsen`s Finanzminister Hartmut Möllring u.v.a.

Géraldine Olivier, musikalische Botschafterin der TOUR DER HOFFNUNG, sang an jeder Etappe den neuen Toursong "Licht am Horizont" mit Kindern aus den örtlichen Städten und Gemeinden. Hier noch ein Dank an alle Schulen und Kindergärten, die sich für die TOUR DER HOFFNUNG eingesetzt haben.

Am Ziel in Hamburg in der Kinderklinik im Universitätsklinikum Eppendorf, wurden die 170 Radler von betroffenen Kindern und deren Eltern, von der Klinikleitung um Frau Professor Gritta Janka-Schaub, von der Leiterin der Fördergemeinschaft Kinderkrebs-Zentrum Hamburg e.V., Renate Vorbeck, von Albert Darboven und der Senatorin und zweite Bürgermeisterin der Freien und Hansestadt Hamburg, Frau Christa Goetsch, begrüßt.

Hier gab es noch einmal, ebenso wie beim Abschlussabend im "Sägebiel`s Fährhaus", namhafte Spenden, so dass die Organisatoren um Gerhard Becker, Volker Klein, Jürgen Grünwald, Petra Behle und Klaus-Peter Thaler ein beeindruckendes Ergebnis verkünden konnten.

Bereits seit 25 Jahren gibt es die Spendenaktion "Tour der Hoffnung". Der geistige Vater und Ideengeber dieses sportlich-sozialen Engagements, Prof. Dr. Fritz Lampert hatte 1983 eine, wie er sagt "Vision", umgesetzt und ist mit 25 Personen von Gießen nach Hamburg geradelt um nachhaltig Spenden zu sammeln.

Die 25. Tour der Hoffnung endete mit einem Rekord-Ergebnis von 1.180.000,00 Millionen Euro.

Alle Beteiligten waren besonders stolz auf diese gemeinsam erbrachte Leistung , wissen sie doch, dass diese Gelder zu 100 Prozent dort hinkommen, wo sie dringend benötigt werden: In der Forschung, bei der klinischen Versorgung und in den Bereichen der psychosozialen Betreuung.

Ziel der "Tour der Hoffnung" ist es, jedem Kind im eigentlichen Sinne des Wortes eine normale Lebensperspektive zu eröffnen. Die schlimmen Erkrankungen bei Kindern werden erst ihre Schrecken verlieren, wenn, wie bei Infektionskrankheiten, die Heilung die Regel und der Tod die absolute Ausnahme ist.

"Reinhold Wolf organisiert außergewöhliches Programm im Rosenthal-Theater. Viele bekannte Stars begeistern das Publikum. Spende in Höhe von 15.000 Euro für das Klinikum Fichtelgebirge.

Selb - Am Schluss gab es nur zufriedene, ja sogar strahlende Gesichter. Die Benefizgala im Rosenthal-Theater war ein toller Erfolg... Und kaum stand das Programm fest, war das Rosenthal-Theater auch schon ausverkauft. So schnell war das Theater noch nie ausverkauft!

... Géraldine Olivier wandte sich direkt an "meinen guten Freund Reinhold " als sie mit "Melodien für Euch" und "Du hast mir so gefehlt" das Publikum begeisterte. Es folgten "Ein Blumenstrauß schließt Herzen auf" für das Publikum und direkt an Reinhold Wolf gewandt den Song "Nimm dir wieder einmal Zeit", was dem Publikum besonders gut gefiel. Ansliessend bat sie Klinikumsgeschäftsführer Martin Schmid auf die Bühne und übergab ihm einen Scheck über 2'000.- Euro aus der Stiftung Wolfgang Köhler (Tour der Hoffnung) ..."

Ja, liebe Freunde und Fans, es hat mich sehr gefreut dabei zu sein und für die gute Sache zu singen. Die Spende wird helfen und dies auch Dank Eurem Besuch. An allen ein herzliches Dankeschön.

Maxi Arland singt die bekanntesten Hits von Roy Black - Titel wie "Ganz in weiß", "Das Mädchen Carina", "Schön ist es auf der Welt zu sein" (im Duett mit Nicole-Dyane) und "Sand in deinen Augen" werden wunderbar von Maxi Arland interpretiert.

Die Idee entstand aus der engen Verbundenheit Rolf Arlands (Maxi's Großvater) mit Roy Black: Rolf Arland komponierte und produzierte viele der bekannten Erfolgstitel für und mit Roy Black.

"Mein Großvater hatte mich früher schon gefragt, ob ich nicht Lust hätte, diese Lieder aufzunehmen, die ich bereits als Kind sehr mochte. Doch am Anfang meiner Karriere fühlte ich mich dazu noch nicht reif genug. Jetzt nun konnte ich ihm und letztlich auch mir diesen Wunsch erfüllen. Denn ich glaube, diese Melodien passen zu mir. Zumal ich sie ja nicht nachsinge, sondern einen Spielraum für eigene Interpretationen habe". So Maxi Arland - und weiter: "Es gibt ein großes Publikum für diese Musik. So haben wir 13 Hits von Roy Black aufgenommen, und mein Großvater hat ein weiteres Lied "Danke, Roy" komponiert. Dazu traf er sich mit Kurt Hertha, der seinerzeit viele Erfolge von Roy Black getextet hatte. Es war ein Wiedersehen nach 40 Jahren! Übrigens, im Tonstudio waren drei Arland Generationen: Mein Großvater als Komponist, mein Vater als Produzent und ich als Interpret".

As you perhaps know out of press or from me, the past year was a great success for me in private and professional terms. I am now living very happy in Klein Offenseth near by Hamburg, the Land between the two seas (North- and Baltic Sea) together with my two sons Jonas-Alexander and Gregory. For the cold "Nordwestenstorm"-evenings I have my Lutz ...

I am looking forward to the springtime, as I will have enough time to get used to my new environment and also have time to prepare my new musician career.

am Samstag den 19.08.06 feiern wir unser diesjähriges Fanclubtreffen in der Heimat von Géraldine Olivier. Die Organisation und Ausrichtung hat unsere Fanclubleiterin in der Schweiz, Ruth Huwiler, übernommen. Treffpunkt ist am 19.08.06 um 13.30 Uhr im Ibis Hotel, Route du Lac 21, CH-1763 Granges-Paccot (Tel.0041-26-469-7900). Um 15.00 Uhr ist die Abfahrt des Touristenzuges für die Stadtbesichtigung von Freiburg am Georges-Python-Platz in Freiburg. Im Restaurant Auberge St-Georges, Route du Centre 14, CH - 1720 Corminboeuf, treffen wir uns um 18.30 Uhr. Ab 19.00 Uhr wird dann das Abendessen, mit anschließenden Fantreffen, serviert. The Edelweiss Tour of December and January 2006 has been a great success! It will start again on mach, 2nd, 2006 and I am looking forward to see you again!

A great success was also the photo shooting on February, 7th, in Munich. Why photo shooting?

Am Samstag, dem 19. November, macht der „Musikantenstadl“ um 20.15 Uhr im ORF 2 / ARD / SF DRS im hohen Norden Deutschlands Station – Karl Moik empfängt seine Gäste diesmal im nordfriesischen Husum. Neben dem Oberkrainer Sextett, Géraldine Olivier, den Klosterjägern, den Bonnies, Andy Borg, Speelwark, Wind und Andrej Hermlin und seinem Swing Dance Orchestra kommen auch Lolita, der Husumer Shanty-Chor, das Kärntner Doppelsextett, der Spielmannszug Rödemis, die K&K Regimentskapelle Nr. 84 und Engelbert in die Nordseemetropole.
„Please Release Me“, „It Had To Be You“ und „Love Songs” – Superstar Engelbert präsentiert im “Musikantenstadl” einige große Hits. Frei nach der Devise „Tanzen, singen bei Volksmusik“ geht es bei den Klosterjägern beschwingt zu und wenn es nach Géraldine Olivier geht, dann gibt es diesmal „Champagner für’s ganze Lokal“. Passend zum Veranstaltungsort Husum singen die Bonnies „Bei uns am Nordseestrand“ und Lolita hat diesmal – unterstützt vom Husumer Shanty-Chor – das Potpourri „Nimm uns mit, Kapitän“ im Gepäck.
Andy Borg ist mit zwei Liedern vertreten. Neben „Ich weiss, was Dir fehlt“ singt er auch „Wenn erst der Abend kommt“. Zu „Verflixte Klarinette“ vom Oberkrainer Sextett schwingt das MDR Deutsche Fernsehballett die Hüften und die Gruppe Wind präsentiert ihren gute-Laune-Hit „Lass die Sonne in Dein Herz“. „Nach Sonne folgt Regen“ weiß die Gruppe Nordwand und der Spielmannszug Rödemis unterhält das Publikum mit einem flotten Marsch. Außerdem lassen es Andrej Hermlin & Swing Dance Orchestra mit „Make Believe Ballroom Time“ and "Night And Day" so richtig swingen.
Mit "Servus, pfüat Gott" verabschieden sich Karl Moik und seine Gäste von ihrem Publikum. Kurt Pongratz führt Regie bei der Koproduktion von ORF und ARD. Ein Wiedersehen mit Karl Moik gibt es beim "Silvesterstadl" aus Klagenfurt am 31. Dezember – dann geht eine Ära zu Ende: Erfolgsmoderator Moik, der mit dem "Musikantenstadl" auf allen fünf Kontinenten zu Gast war, nimmt nach fast 25 Jahren Abschied von seinen Fans.

What a wonderful day! My colleagues the "Mooswälder" played for us and we could dance and laugh on their music until early hours in the morning. Thank you dear friends for the superb atmosphere! The successful singer Christian Lais brought us emotions with his splendid voice. Thank you dear Christian for your coming! The voice of Michael Heck made us dream with sounds of Country-, Blues- and Rock music. I am looking forward to sing your songs dear Michael!

We enjoyed beautiful hours in Hohenzollern Castle and you are one of this reason, dear Gerhard Kühnl. The organization was perfect and your strawberry cake completed it fully!

For the first time in 10 years, we had the visit of Father Robert. He made us cry with his lovely words about my 10 years Showbusiness beeing. Thank you dear Father Robert. We are looking forward to see you every Year on the fanclub meeting.

I want to thank you all, dear fans, who came from fare away - even from England "dear Lawrence". Thank you for the flowers, the presents you offered to Gregory and to me.

Takeo war so begeistert vom Jodeln, dass er bereits zuhause in Tokio fleißig übte und bald im japanischen Fernsehen als Jodler und Alphorn-Bläser auftrat. Während eines Sprach-Aufenthaltes in Deutschland wurde Takeo bei einem Biergarten-Besuch vom Wirt entdeckt, der ihn vom Fleck weg für 3 Monate engagierte. Die Karriere als jodelnder Japaner war nicht mehr aufzuhalten! Sein einzigartiges Können machte ihn in Windeseile zu einem gern gesehenen Stammgast auf dem Fernsehschirm, in diesem Jahr feiert er sein 30 jähriges Bühnenjubiläum.

Schlagerstar Rudi ist tot.
ILLNAU ZH – Das Schlagerduo «Vreni & Rudi» ist nicht mehr: Rudi Margreiter hat sich umgebracht. Der 50-Jährige ist gestern tot aufgefunden worden. Wie die Kantonspolizei Zürich eine Meldung von «Radio Zürisee» bestätigte, habe er Selbstmord begangen. Von wem und wo Margreiter gefunden wurde, ob er einen Abschiedsbrief hinterlassen habe und weitere Details wollte der Pressesprecher der Kantonspolizei Zürich, Martin Sorg, Blick Online gegenüber nicht bekannt geben.

Rudi Margreiter und Vreni Bieri prägten als «Vreni & Rudi» jahrelang den «Grand Prix der Volksmusik» mit. 1981 erhielt das Schlagerduo den «Prix Walo». Seit 1987 waren sie unzertrennlich – sowohl privat (sie waren verheiratet) als auch auf der Bühne.

1995 gewannen sie mit «Ein Festival der guten Laune» in Interlaken die Schweizer Ausscheidung zum dritten Mal. Im selben Jahr gewannen sie in Wien den «Grand Prix»-Kristall für die Komposition des Siegertitels «Nimm dir wieder einmal Zeit» (Interpretin: Géraldine Olivier). 1998 dann produzierte Margreiter «Das Feuer der Sehnsucht», das Lied, welches Francine Jordi zum Sieg führte.

Am 11. September feiert der GP im Zürcher Hallenstadion sein 20-jähriges Jubiläum. Für die TV-Show sollen die erfolgreichsten Grand-Prix-Sieger der letzten zwei Jahrzehnte zusammenkommen und unter dem Titel «Der Sieger der Sieger» nochmals ihre Gewinnersongs zum Besten geben. Rudi Margreiter wird fehlen. Francine Jordi und Géraldine Olivier werden seine Musik aber in alle Haushalte tragen."

it was a great honour for me to be able to become acquainted with retired chancellor Helmut Kohl. I was allowed to spend the evening of January 30th with him and talk to him about show business and my career. He was very interested and told me about his positive experience at the show of Florian Silbereisen - "Die Feste der Volksmusik". He praised the telecast, the naturalness and the skill of Florian Silbereisen a lot. A likeable young man, he called him.

On January 31st, I was allowed to sing for chancellor Kohl, but I am going to remain silent about what he told me. The performance was a real experience and wonderful.

I wish you, dear chancellor Kohl, the best and good health for the future and "Take some time off" is my winning title of 1995!

On 17th October 1934 in Wentorf near Hamburg, Max and Martha Bruhn had their first child, a sturdy little boy, whom they called Hans Christian. When at the age of four this boy started using the family piano to lose himself in romantic tercet fantasias, his dear mother had no option but to make sure he was given a sound knowledge of music as soon as possible. And so he learnt to read music long before he knew the alphabet.
The mother and her two children Christian and Cornelia spent the war in Carinthia, where Christian received a deep musical impression from Austrian folk music, which he believes still has a strong influence on him today.
Back in Hamburg, he formed a school band and later studied composition, piano and clarinet. In those early days, Professor Ernst Gernot Klussmann, who allowed him to play his early song creations in the lessons, had already predicted a future in the world of hit songs for him. Then came the time touring as a pianist in various jazz combos, ending up in 1956 in Munich, where Christian still lives today. In the Bavarian capital, he worked during the day in the studio of a record factory, first of all as a volunteer and then later as an arranger and producer, while he spent the nights playing jazz in Schwabing to supplement his living. "I really was quite thin then", he says.
In 1959, he got to know the Berlin publisher Peter Meisel at the Luxemburg Song Festival. This meeting was to develop into a close cooperation. The two of them set up the Hansa-Musikproduktion company and in the years that followed they became the most successful German Independent Producer Team.
Christian Bruhn twice succeeded in winning the legendary German Song Festival in Baden-Baden: in 1962 with Zwei kleine Italiener (Cornelia Froboess) and in 1964 with Liebeskummer lohnt sich nicht (Siw Malmquist).
Over the years, Christian Bruhn has worked for nearly every reputable performing artist (see sheet "Selection of Works"). Katja Ebstein came third in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1970 with Wunder gibt es immer wieder; for a whole decade he was Mireille Mathieu's author and musical conscience and as such responsible for her big German-language hits. He wrote the immortal Marmor, Stein und Eisen bricht for Drafi Deutscher and the evergreens Heidi and Aus Böhmen kommt die Musik for Gitti & Erika.
Over two thousand melodies were created in this way, along with about one hundred pieces of music for commercials (Milka, die zarteste Versuchung) and 100 children's songs - "they are my most personal works", he says, thinking back with gratitude to the world-famous writer of juvenile literature James Krüß, whose poems he set to music for the James' Tierleben cycle.
In 1981, the busy composer joined the Board of Supervisors of GEMA, and now uses his rich fund of experience to safeguard the interests of his colleagues. He was appointed their Chairman of the Board of Supervisors in 1991 and an honorary member in 2003. In 1993 he was awarded the Paul Lincke Ring and this was followed by many other distinctions. He became a professor in 2002.
Christian Bruhn's hobbies include literature, riding in trains, visual arts, walking, good weather, swimming and good music for television. He is always full of ideas and often receives inspiration from good lyrics, whether in the morning in the bathroom, at midday in the aeroplane or in the evening at the grand piano. Of his own songs, the one he likes most of all is "Meine Welt ist die Musik" (Music is my world). That sums it up, doesn't it?

Dear friends and fans

ORF Tirol organized a wonderful Gala evening "Licht ins Dunkel" and worked hard for the good thing.

The 1'800 people and artists who came were very spoiled by ORF Tirol. Everything was top: the organization, decorations and of course ... the artists (Nockalm Quintett, Bergfeuer, Dolomitensextett Lienz, Marc Pircher (Grand Prix der Volksmusik Sieger 2003), Zellberg Buam, Ursprung Buam, Belsy and the Bundesmusikkapelle Zell am Ziller).

I also would like to thank Dr. Wolfgang Kirchmair, who presented the Gala professonaly and with class. Thank you dear Wolfgang!

I would like to thank you all for the letters I received after the TV-Show "Melodien der Berge" (ARD). I am very glad you liked the song "Vittoria dell'amore".

"Vittoria dell'Amore" and the complet album will be coming out soon - Jan/Feb 2004. I will inform you as soon as it comes out!

November 28th, 2003, at 8:15 p.m., on MDR chanel, I will tell you all about my live, Gregory, the future, my album, a.s.o. The TV-Show ist called "Ramona".

I am back with a new song! (Album coming out 2004).

On october 11th, 2003, 8:15p.m., I will present you my new song "Vittoria dell'amore" on the german television ARD. The Team "Melodien der Berge" presents you my song in the wonderful country Südtirol (I).

"Vittoria dell'amore" was composed by Jutta Gerndt and Charlie Hörnemann.
Arrangement by producer Atilla Sereftug. Soon I will give you more informations about Atilla Sereftug.

I wish you a great evening in Südtirol and with my new song "Vittoria dell'amore". It would be great to hear what you're thinking about my new song after the TV-Show. I am looking forward to receive your messages on my eMail ore in my guestbook.
